With this writing, we are starting the ordering for the next farms delivery on November 10th. This will be the last order before the Turkeys are delivered on Monday, November 19th. So, don’t forget to order the sausage for your stuffing, the chicken livers for your pate, more eggs for baking (especially the duck eggs) and, of course, more organic apple cider, just to name a few.
Make this the best Thanksgiving ever by ordering your Pasture-Raised Turkey by next Wednesday, November 8th. Also, we are offering, at a reduced price, certain chicken items to stock your freezer. Make sure to read “Keepin’ It Brief“ below.
PLEASE NOTE: This order is due no later than MONDAY EVENING, Nov. 5th for delivery SATURDAY, Nov. 10th.
THE NEXT REGULAR ORDER WILL BE DELIVERED ON DECEMBER 1ST, after a 3 week interval, unless you need a few things during the trip with your turkey on the 19th.
“Keepin’ It Brief”:
ON SALE: Whole Chickens (2.5 – 3.5 lbs. — they’re smaller than usual,) Whole Chicken Breasts and Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts. Sale prices are noted in “red” on the list. Make sure to stock up and save! All other chicken parts are available at regular prices.
Duck Eggs — At long last, a new family of ducks are laying delicious eggs. They’re big and especially good for baking (or just a sumptuous omelet. M-m-m!
Organic Apple Cider for Fall & Thanksgiving — We have delicious Organic Apple Cider at a NEW LOW PRICE! Look for it toward the end of the order list, near the Humankind Water.
Thanksgiving Turkeys — NO TIME TO WASTE!!! It’s time to order your special bird now for Thanksgiving again this year. As always (for the 9th holiday season) these beautiful turkeys are organically pasture-raised with NO antibiotics or hormones, and humanely treated.
We must have your $25/bird deposit between now and November 8th, so we can order your main course for Thanksgiving to share with family and friends.
Additionally, you can add your turkey deposit(s) to your order total for this order, so you’re not paying for the whole bird at pick-up day. Don’t wait too long. . .farmers are taking orders from many others buyers!
FYI! The smaller turkeys will most likely be freshly frozen (no difference from fresh) since they have to be processed before they become too large. We will be picking them up on Monday before thanksgiving, giving you ample time for safe thawing in the fridge. Larger birds will be freshly processed on the day of pick-up. We will let you know more about pricing in a later email.
PLEASE NOTE: All orders are due by next Monday evening, Nov. 5th. Order now! Delivery will be on SATURDAY, Nov. 10th.
***We will go to the farms for the turkeys (and, maybe a few items you forgot, on Nov. 19th and again on Saturday, December 3rd (3 weeks from this week’s order.) MAKE SURE TO ORDER ENOUGH TO LAST WITH THIS ORDER FOR 3 WEEKS!
