Here are the items in focus for this order:

CHICKEN, BEEF AND PORK: — Most cuts are plentiful again, as the warmer season is in full swing!

LAMB CHOICES: — With Spring, there are more choices!!! And, most lamb cuts are available and plentiful! Check out the list!

BISON: — Bison hasn’t replenished yet, but there are a few items! Sorry about this!

NEW ITEMS: (Look for these below “Dairy” toward the end of order list)

Made in NYC, Blackbird Foods has come in ‘HOT’ to the Philadelphia Area with their 100% plant-based frozen pizzas – 9″ Vegan and Dairy-Free Pizzas, that are made with high-quality, non-GMO ingredients.

We had a chance to try the “Supreme Pizza” and it’s really good. It’s a wonderful alternative to many vegan products that (to me) taste like cardboard! These pizzas made with strictly organic flour and other great ingredients. Yummy!

Regular price: $12.00/ea. (minimum order: 2 pizzas)

Ingredients for Supreme Pizza: Crust (unbleached flour, filtered water, yeast, sea salt, olive oil, organic brown sugar), tomato sauce (tomatoes, basil, dry oregano, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, salt), vegan cheese (Filtered Water, Coconut Oil, Food Starch – Modified, Sea Salt, Mozzarella and Parmesan Flavor (vegan sources), Olive Extract, Beta Carotene, Vitamin B12), seitan sausage (unbleached high-gluten flour, water, organic shoyu (organic whole soybeans, organic whole wheat, salt), organic brown sugar, potato starch, fennel seed, red pepper flakes, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, anise seed, dried sage, paprika), green pepper, red onion. 

In other news, a few prices have increased again, but not too much. as gas prices continue to climb and other inflation, and it is still hitting the farms as well. A few have actually been lowered. Eggs (not because of avian flu—at present, our farms haven’t been hit, and they never seem to) have just gone up, too. We’re sorry to pass these higher prices to you, but we’re paying them for ourselves, too!

Also, we have hesitated raising travel costs, although they’re hurting us badly — especially the gas!!! We would like to ask for a $5.00 donation for each order, as you’re able, to defray some of that burden. We want to continue bringing the best foods to the Philly area, so if the spirit strikes you, it will be much appreciated.

We continue to offer exceptional foods from our farms: meats of all sorts, and delicious raw milk dairy selections, like butter, cottage cheese, yogurt and sour cream made from fresh raw milk. The milk from the A2A2 cows is our favorite! Look for it under dairy “A2A2” shaded in light green. Quantities may vary, but we will try to get whatever you desire.

Our “distance buying” procedures will continue for the foreseeable future, and we will continue to exercise them for the safety of everyone.
